Port Angeles Farmers Market
Year round community Farmers Market, with vendors offering Fair Trade organic coffee, organic bread, produce, eggs, jams and honey, unique handcrafted candles, soaps, hats, baskets, pottery, scarfs, tie-dye. This farmers market accepts WIC and Senior Nutrition Checks in summer months for fresh produce.
Forks
Surrounded by rain forest valleys and within minutes of the rugged Pacific Coast, Forks is a friendly little town full of recreation opportunities. Within an hour of Forks, one can be strolling a rain forest trail, kayaking a tidal estuary, surfing a wilderness beach, soaking in natural hot spring waters or canoeing a clear blue glacier-carved lake.
Olympic National Park
Here you will find Pacific Ocean beaches, rain forest valleys, glacier-capped peaks and a stunning variety of plants and animals. Roads provide access to the outer edges of the park, but the heart of Olympic is wilderness; a primeval sanctuary for humans and wild creatures alike.
Port Angeles
The Center of It All With the best access to Hurricane Ridge, the most popular attraction of Olympic National Park, Port Angeles is home to year-round ferry transportation to Victoria, Canada, and during the summer months, the San Juan Islands. Ideally situated for all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer, it is easy to see why Port Angeles says it is "The Center of It All." Port Angeles offers unique shopping and a tremendous variety of restaurants. Many of the recreational activities for which the area is famous can be enjoyed in and around this charming community.
Port Townsend
A Day Trip to Port Townsend It can be a life-time memory. Most of our city is easily accessible on foot. Cuisine choices are outstanding and include several award-winning restaurants—take time to enjoy a meal. Touring the historic homes and buildings can be done by foot or by car. while the history of Port Townsend is young by world standards, we are proud of restoring out heritage. Port Townsend is only one of three Victorian Seaports on the National Register of Historic Places. There are over 15 unique art galleries featuring classic to innovative visual arts.
Rainforest Country
When you visit the Rain Forest Country, you are surrounded by wonders of nature. You will see the temperate wild Hoh Rain Forest, with its huge five hundred year old trees and Elk herds and the working rain forest where wood fiber products are replenished faster than anywhere on earth.
Around La Push
This drive-to beach is a beautiful spot to enjoy the surf and watch shorebirds, eagles and seals. The 1-1/4 mile trek north to “Hole-in-the-Wall” begins here.

Lake Crescent, Waterfalls & Hot Springs
The legend of the well-matched dragons that fought nearly to the death, and whose hot tears of anguish created the hot springs of today lends a magical touch to the Lake Crescent area. This picturesque glacier-carved lake offers swimming, boating, and fishing along with diverse hiking trails. Hike along a shoreline path that was once a railroad grade, ascend to breathtaking vistas or stroll through the forest to a waterfall.
If You Are Short on Time, Try the Moments in Time Trail
The Moments in Time Nature Trail is an easy 0.5-mile trail that meanders through the woods and along the shoreline of Lake Crescent offering a variety of environments from breathtaking views of Lake Crescent and Pyramid Mountain to tiny fern and wildflower meadows to lush woods with towering evergreens and spectacular mosses and fungi. Appropriate for the entire family, it begins just off the parking area of the Storm King Ranger Station on Lake Crescent in the Olympic National Park.
