For all travelers crossing the Hood Canal Bridge on Highway 104 the Olympic Peninsula Gateway Visitor Center is the first Information Center you will see on the Olympic Peninsula. Located at the Junction of Highway 104 and Highway 19 we have the most extensive collection of free information on all of the recreational opportunites and sights to see on the Peninsula.  We  have the inside story when it comes to seeing the best of the Olympic National Park from your car or taking a day hike.  From lodging and dinning questions to festivals or events that are scheduled when you arrive on the Peninsula the Gateway Visitor Center has the information. 

If history is on your agenda our Visitor Center also has a Museum area featuring exhibits of the early days on the Olympic Peninsula. Photographs of scenes and artifacts from the early logging, fishing, and, farming areas in rural Jefferson County can be viewed here at the Visitor Center.   Our Museum displays are provided by the Jefferson County Historical Society,  you can contact the Historical Society for more information on the rest of our County Museums at www.jchsmuseum.org

For current and historic information stop in and see us. 
We are open 9:00 A. M. to 5:00 P. M. daily from May 1st. through Labor Day weekend. 

From Labor Day weekend through the end of April we are open daily from 10:00 A. M. to 4:00 P. M.
