Birds of Prey
Rescuing injured wildlife, and then rehabilitating and releasing it is what the Northwest Raptor Center does. Learn how the Raptor Center brings these magnificent animals back to health at a presentation with live birds at 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, at the Sequim High School cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Avenue, Sequim, Washington. The presentation is part of the 11th Dungeness River Festival presented by the Dungeness River Audubon Center. Although the presentation is free, the Raptor Center survives on donations, and they will be greatly appreciated. Check the River Center web site, www.DungenessRiverCenter.org, for the complete Festival schedule or call 681-4076.
