Moon Fest 2012
Benefitting the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, dbash Productions and Jim Munn present MoonFest 2012, a celebration of extremely talented musicians paying tribute to some of the biggest names in music history.
The one-day festival will also feature Roger Fisher, founding guitarist of rock group Heart, playing original songs from his new album ALL TOLD.
Roger’s brother Mike - aka Magic Man - created a new 18.1 surround sound system for the presentation of Roger’s new music. Mike and Roger were so blown away by the sound, they found it hard to believe they’d never seen it done before. Roger remarked, “All these years of hearing concerts in stereo is like having your toes in the water. With Mike’s new system, the audience is completely in the water. It’s like the audience and the band are all on stage together for the first time. Total immersion!
Other groups performing at this annual event are:
Randy Hansen, Leon Hendrix, No Quarter, Heartless, Rolling Tones, Petty Fever, British Export, Open Blue, The 350s, Blumeadows, Kimberly Hall, and Dennis Mitchell.
With beautiful Lake Leland as a backdrop, concert-goers can camp on-site or plan a weekend around camping at one of the many sites nearby in and around the Olympic National Forest. Situated between Sequim and Quilcene, MoonFest 2012 is in the banana belt, a rain shadow created by the Olympic mountains.
