Midsummer Magic Comes to MAC (Art Workshop) June 1, 2013 Sequim A touch of midsummer magic is coming to the Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley (MAC) with a fairy wings-making workshop for all ages! Artist Renne Brock-Richmond leads the workshop from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the MAC Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St. in Sequim. Attendees are asked to bring two pairs of knee-high nylons of any color, and a $2 fee per person covers the cost of additional art supplies including glitter glues, ribbons, paints and sequins. Free Quilt Making Demo with Friendship Quilters @ MAC June 18, 2013 Sequim The Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley (MAC) will present a free quilt making demo from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at the MAC Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St. in Sequim. For the demo, members of the Friendship Quilters will present such non-machine quilting techniques as hand-piecing, hand-applique and hand-quilting, and will display examples of finished pieces. |
