Showcase Artist of the Month at the Northwind Arts Center, 701 Water Street, in Port Townsend, WA showcases the work of Mike Biskup. His art will be exhibited in the Artist Showcase May 30 - June 26, 2016. On Saturday, June 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Mike will give a demonstration of his non-traditional watercolor painting process and techniques He'll share how he combines Watercolor and India ink as a versatile and complimentary duo and share his strategies for overcoming self judgment while making paintings.

Northwind Arts Center Presents "Bits & Pieces" Collage and Assemblage Show

Bits and Pieces, a juried show, will feature two-dimensional collage and three-dimensional assemblage. This show, diverse in both subject and artistic materials, may include a variety of painted and decorative papers, found objects, vintage ephemera, and unique combinations of art media.

The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is collaborating with the Port Townsend School of Woodworking and the CedarRoot Folk School with the message “Learn With Your Hands on the Olympic Peninsula” that aims to broaden the message around craftsmanship and experiential learning.

Concerts in the Woods – “March to May“

Seattle-based folk-pop duo March to May overlays harp and guitar with rich vocal harmonies, haunting lyrics and riveting melodies, in the vein of the Swell Season, Damien Rice & the Civil Wars. The band formed in the Spring of 2013 as a collaboration between singer/songwriters Darren Guyaz and Beth Wesche.  Concerts are for all ages, admission is by donation.

The 3-day event features saloons and storefronts from the 19th century and an absinthe-tinged savor that's unforgettable. Join our Saturday-night Hootenanny featuring The Cog Is Dead from Daytona Beach, FL and The Nathaniel Johnstone Band. This year we introduce our Bodgers' Grand Exhibition Hall where tinkers and makers can display their creations - and win prizes for their exceptional genius.
