Kids Fishing Derby

Our annual kids fishing derby is here again! Grab your fishing poles and head on down to the Lincoln Park Ponds. This derby is just for kids 14 and under. We'll have prizes, food and fish!! So bring your blanket, fishing pole and some patience. Don't let that big one get away. 8-11am

Quilcene Historical Museum 20th Anniversary Seasonal Reopening Celebration

The Quilcene Historical Museum will celebrate its 20th Anniversary and re-opening for the season on April 16 from 12-3pm, with grilled hot dogs, beverages, birthday cake and card; music by Denny Secord and the "Northwest Country Boys". Charter and Founding Members are special guests, but all are invited to this FREE family-fun event.

throughout the country, will waive entrance fees April 16-24 as part of
National Park Week. The park also plans special events April 16 including
National Junior Ranger Day at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center and
Greenhouse Day, an open house at the Matt Albright Native Plant Center.

MAC Presents: "Seeds, Soil and Sustainability" at Dungeness Schoolhouse

The Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley (MAC) is going green in April with a presentation highlighting sustainability in local agriculture.

Scott Chichester of Nash's Organic Produce will discuss "Seeds, Soil and Sustainability" on Saturday, April 16 from 1-3 p.m. at the Dungeness Schoolhouse, 2781 Towne Rd. in Sequim.

The presentation will focus on how soil and seed, key elements in food production, are utilized in local agriculture to increase sustainability while creating a local food system.
