Contact Bob Boekelheide at the River Center (681-4076) to sign up for the count. Our official tally and annual chili feed for counters takes place at the River Center beginning at 5 p.m.

Kayak session in the PT pool

Port Townsend's local kayak shop is now offering beginners kayaking lessons in the safety and warmth of the municipal pool.

Learn more about wet exits, safety self-rescues, bracing, paddle strokes and other basic skills to get you out and paddling in our Pacific Northwest waters. All the gear is provided for the course fee. Classes are one and a half hours long, either two or one students per instructor. Classes are the second and fourth saturday of each month. Please confirm each class first!
