Photography Workshop with Art Wolfe

 Join Art and learn his world-famous approach to nature photography on this amazing weekend workshop. This course will shape the way you look through the lens as well as how you look at your photographs. Experience the opportunity to work in the field side by side with Art learning everything from how to capture the expanse of a landscape to photographing the smallest detail.

Shellfest at Belfair State Park

This event showcases beach walks, touch tanks, children's activites, Native American cultural presentations by the Skokomish Tribe, as well as free lunch provided by Xinh's and Taylor Shellfish (suggested donation $5.00 to benefit the Washington State Parks Foundation).

PumpkinFest

All month-long, with special activities the last weekend
Unionʼs PumpkinFest is a month-long annual harvest festival and fall celebration culminating each year the last weekend of October. Events include pumpkin picking, hay mazes, wagon rides, and catapult contests at at Hunter Farms; costume contests; cocktail parties; and other spooktacular events.

OysterFest

The Annual West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship and Washington State Seafood Festival is hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club. The community festival boasts a more than 100 community partners, face painting, a beer and wine garden, live entertainment, and an Art and Photography Competition

42Five — What's an instrumental band with no instruments? It's not magic or make believe. It's simply the voices of five guys: Ryan, Earl, Geoff, Danny and Layne – known better as 42Five. They've come together to create a new form of entertainment, singing songs we all love, from the 60s, to the tunes of today including Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" and Three Dog Night's "Joy to the World".

Allyn Days and Geoduck Festival

The activities can’t be missed once you get to Allyn, on Hwy 3 connecting the towns of Shelton and Belfair. Alder-smoked salmon, top area musical and dance talent from the area, activity and vendor booths, art show and fun activities for the kids make this an event for everyone. Nearly 1,000 pounds of donated geoduck have been donated for top restaurants in the region will be preparing unique culinary dishes. The local Kayaks and Cones will be serving up their Geoduck Ice Cream.

Mason County Fair and NPRA Rodeo

Here the finest and the bravest handlers from the Western United States & Canada will be competing for Rodeo titles, this exciting events feature professional cowboys and cowgirls from five western states and Canada competing in: Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Calf Roping, Bareback riding, Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, Break Away Roping, Wild Cow Milking. Hosted at the Mason County Fairgrounds in Shelton, WA.

Sound Learning's 20th Annual Spring Spell-E-Bration

Sound Learning will host the 20th annual community spelling bee on Friday, May 10. Spell-E-Bration has become a community tradition and is a fundraiser that is fun for the whole family!
We will have a spelling bee, appetizers and desserts, silent auction, door prizes, and surprises to make this the best Spell-E-Bration ever!
