First Night Port Townsend

The Jefferson County Historical Society is pleased to present the fith annual edition of First Night, Port Townsend’s happiest new tradition. First Night is an alcohol-free New Year’s Eve community celebration focusing on art, culture and heritage. It is organized by JCHS and sponsored by First Federal Savings and Loan. All activities take place in and around Port Townsend’s historic City Hall between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

WEST END HISTORY WEEKEND 2011 - Jefferson County HIstorical Society

The Jefferson County Historical Society will hold its fourth annual West End History Weekend November 18-20.  JCHS Executive Director Bill Tennent said, “There are two major goals of the weekend—to encourage people from eastern Jefferson County to explore that beautiful and historic area of our county and to collect stories and historical information from West End residents.”

An Evening of Music - Benefit Concert

The beloved “Old Side Kicks” music group will present an evening of toe-tapping country western and gospel music. Concert will be held at Calvary Community Church located off Hwy 19 just north of the airport at 82 Romans Road, Port Townsend, WA. Voluntary offering proceeds will help support the non-profit Pregnancy and Family Resource Services organization which serves the greater Jefferson County area. The community is invited to come and enjoy the evening, Saturday, October 29, starting at 7 pm.

PORT LUDLOW GOLF CLUB SUPPORTS FIFTH ANNUAL PATRIOT GOLF DAY

The Port Ludlow Golf Club will participate in the fifth annual Patriot Golf Day, a joint initiative of The PGA of America and the United States Golf Association, Sept. 2-5. Golfers across the country and at Port Ludlow Golf Club have the unique opportunity to donate an additional $1 or more to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation (FoldsofHonor.org), which provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation.
