Bluegrass From The Forest

The festival features shows in a great performing arts center, camping on site, a band contest, band scramble, banjo contest, mandolin tasting, youth program, vendors and much more. Jamming space is available indoors, in the camping areas and throughout the Shelton High school campus grounds. The Kristmas Town Kiwanis produce this festival and with the revenue created many community projects are accomplished. Events include band and banjo contests, mandolin tasting, youth program and and an exciting entertainment lineup.

25th Annual Pacific NW Harmonica Jamboree

Harmonica lovers, players and students are invited to this special event showcasing world-class harmonica performers and instructors from around the country. This event is for learning, sharing and expanding your skills. Youth 7 and older and adults learning the harmonica are encouraged to attend the wonderful workshops. This is the 25th year Shelton's own, Vern Morgus is organizing the event he founded. It came to Shelton last year after 23 years in Tacoma.
